The surroundings of Edam offer a lot of sightseeing and activities for every age. From museums to markets, bike tours and boat trips. In the months of July and August you will find our traditional and century-old cheese market every Wednesday. And next to the lively city center with its sunny terraces, unique shops and bike routes there is also plenty of things to do for the people who enjoy the water. The Ijsselmeer area offers a great selection of watersports like canoeing, supping, boat trips and more.
Hotel Hof van Holland offers the perfect location for a daytrip. A 20-minute drive will take to you incredible places such as the Zuiderzeemuseum in Enkhuizen, the Zaanse Schans in Zaandstad, the Keukenhof and not to miss: the fishers village of Volendam.
And above that, within 20 minutes you can find yourself in the vibrant city center of Amsterdam. Next to the hotel you will find our bus station that offers frequent connection to Amsterdam.
